The Garden House is a detached property built with character, standing on its own within a village setting between Bath and Frome. Two bedrooms and a shower room occupy a compact footprint designed to feel bright and open. Downstairs, the living area has a wood burner and French doors onto the garden; the kitchen and dining space sit on a slightly raised level. A galleried single bedroom and separate double bedroom are reached by steel stairs. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are covered, and the wood burner comes with initial fuel included.
The enclosed back garden is the real draw: a sitting area with furniture, a fire pit for evening use, and views towards the Church of St Philip and St James. One small dog stays free. A gate leads to adjacent public fields. On-road parking is available at the property. The village has a pub within a mile. Bath and its attractions are 15 minutes away by car, or reachable by bus from the village centre. Note that there are steps to the entrance and within the garden, and the property is not suitable for children under 12.

Exceptionally lucky to find this B&B. Our room was really comfortable with an enormous bed and bathroom and within a short stroll of The Coombe Lodge. Ryan was really welcoming and exceeded all our expectations by helping us sort a situation we could not resolve by ourselves.. He really saved the day. Thankyou Ryan, and we will definitely stay with you again when we are visiting relatives in the area.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at Coombe Lodge, being such a short stroll away. The location itself is stunning and the twin room I had was very comfortable and well maintained. Parking is right outside which was convenient. The service we received was friendly and helpful when we arrived and when we checked out. The breakfast was buffet style and although it was OK, I would say that it was quite basic (eg. the orange juice tasted very much like a budget basic carton type, there were no teapots available for tea, a limited choice of cooked breakfast choices and a very small selection of pastries). I think it could be a bit better. Despite that, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Family and friends booked out The Garden Rooms for our wedding. It could not have been more perfect. As well as the brilliant location so close to the venue, gorgeous rooms and wonderful food, Ryan and his team went above and beyond for us, helping us find alternatives when other guests' accommodation fell through, finishing decorating at double quick speed so they could get in an unexpected additional couple, and helping my brother with additional needs get around the grounds. It was wonderful from start to finish, and I can never say thank you enough.
