About Longley's Retreat

When you're sorely in need of some 'you' time well away from everyday life, a bit of luxury might be very welcome. That's where Longley's Retreat comes in – this adults-only hideaway sits 10 minutes from Gainsborough, offering just a handful of well-equipped wooden lodges. Each comes with spacious living areas, modern kitchens, spotless ensuites and, outside, its own private six-seater hot tub tucked under cover so you can bubble away any aches and pains.

The site's private pond is yours to wander around for a spot of wildlife watching – geese and mallards are regular visitors – and catch-and-return fishing is permitted using the site's equipment. If you fancy a break from the kitchen, the village fish and chip shop at Upton (five minutes' drive) opens Friday and Saturday evenings, while a local pub and small shop are within 20 minutes' walk along a quiet road.
