Me and my boyfriend visited Ty’n Llan campsite after he come across it and booked it for the night for us. From the minute he booked it Mel was so accommodating and helpful. Once we arrived mel was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we need and pointed us to the facilities which were available. And anything we needed Mel didn’t hesitate once to helping us. The campsite is so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery and has absolutely everything you need. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities on site were immaculate, warm shower too just want you need after taking a cold dip in the river running through the campsite. I don’t think we could have wished for a better place to spend the night and we definitely will be visiting again. Thank you Mel for letting us visit your beautiful campsite, you made it a night to remember ❤️ see you again soon x

I have been camping for many years and there is only one camp site I feel compelled to return to every year. And it is this one T'yn Llan. Positioned on the western edge of Snowdonia and just north of Porthmadog it provides the perfect blend of seclusion, and accessibility with everything you could ever need being within a short drive away in Porthmadog.. the Cwm Pennant valley is second to non utterly stunning vistas. One of the cleanest rivers to swim in is on site as well as a communal firepit..(but you can have your own as well) which is a great place to meet other campers.. Mel who predominantly runs the campsite along with her husband and family... Are very attentive hosts. Value, honesty and integrity... This site is truly the best. And a note to Mel.. sorry for not writing a review sooner.. I am useless with tech.. but Jess and I can't wait to join you next Friday.

We stayed there during the may half term with the kids. We were lucky with the weather (too hot even, for some standards) but our kids enjoyed splashing in the river as a result. Mel was fantastic and gave us recommendations on what to see and do and we took her advice every day which meant we had an amazing time wherever we went! Facilities are kept really clean and even a fridge freezer provided, handy for ice blocks. It is definitely a place where I would return!

Ty’n Llan is the most beautiful little campsite we’ve stayed at 😍 its rural setting and natural feel is so relaxing. The river is great, we were lucky enough to have a river front pitch to paddle in, there’s also a small section that is deep enough for swimming. Pitches are spacious, the toilet / shower block is very clean and tidy and is just the right amount of luxury, while still having a very wild feeling field to camp in. We were greeted by Mel when we arrived, she was very welcoming and helpful, she’s done an amazing job with this place. We will definitely be back 💜
