Riverview Retreat is a ground-floor apartment in Blackhall Mill, a village on the north bank of the River Derwent in Gateshead. The location puts you within reach of Newcastle, Durham and the Northumberland coast, with a pub less than a mile away. The whole property is yours alone, and one dog stays free.

Three bedrooms sleep five: a kingsize with ensuite shower, a second kingsize, and a single. The family bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a kitchen that has electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, so you can cook as much or as little as you like. The lounge has a Smart TV with Sky and leather reclining sofas. Each bedroom also has a Smart TV. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and there is on-road parking five yards from the entrance.

No smoking is permitted in the property. Ground floor access means no stairs to manage with luggage or small children; a travel cot and highchair are available on request.
