About Oak Tree Inn
Front Street in Stanley sets the scene for the Oak Tree Inn, a traditional pub-hotel within easy reach of Beamish Museum and Durham Cathedral, and surrounded by the wider County Durham countryside that makes this part of the North East worth exploring. Free on-site parking makes it a straightforward base whether you're here for the museum, the cathedral, or simply passing through.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible rooms are available, along with a bridal suite for those staying around a wedding at the venue. Guests can expect breakfast each morning, a restaurant and bar on site, drinks available in the room, and free WiFi throughout. A garden, picnic area and outdoor seating give extra space to relax, while a games room adds something for families or groups looking to pass an evening.
