We had a fantastic stay at Valley View Campsite. Perfect for our last minute plans when we want to have a night or two away locally in our tentbox and with the dog! Firepits provided - which is a massive bonus, very spacious pitches, clean facilities/site, and stunning sunsets! The owners are wonderful and very helpful. We can’t wait for our next trip!

We had a lovely time. Myself, husband and toddler (and husky) absolutely loved it. Lovely scenery, camp fire and the local pub is fab. Even the porta loos were clean. Will return regularly

We recently stayed at Valley View Camping and Glamping in Northumberland with our roof-mounted Latitude Tent, and it turned out to be a brilliant experience from start to finish. From the outset, Heather was incredibly helpful and supportive, especially as this was our very first time using the tent — and with two lively 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgebacks in tow! Her clear information via text was very reassuring, and the use of what3words to find the site worked perfectly. Admittedly, we originally wanted to visit “Valley View” near Scarborough, so this booking was a happy accident. But what a fantastic mistake it turned out to be — we were absolutely wowed by the views across the Northumberland valley. We found a prime pitch where we could relax and watch the sunset, which was simply stunning. The facilities were excellent for a relaxed camping experience. Logs were available to buy at a small cost (everything included except matches), and the fire pits — cleverly made from old beer barrels — added to the atmosphere, though worth noting they don’t come with cooking racks. The tea station was a thoughtful touch, with tea bags, water, and other essentials available. The portaloos were always clean and well maintained. One small note for first-time visitors: there’s no formal check-in — you simply find your pitch. Logs are delivered during the day, so no need to worry about that on arrival. The site itself was very friendly, and although on this occasion noise from a neighbouring wild camping group carried on past 3am, it didn’t spoil our overall enjoyment. We will definitely be back. A couple of things worth mentioning: our dogs were kept on leads and we cleaned up after them, but some other dogs on site were roaming freely, which may be a consideration for those visiting with pets. All in all, Valley View Camping and Glamping is well worth a visit if you’re looking for breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, and a truly memorable spot in Northumberland. We can’t wait to return.

Great little campsite. Been here a few times now and I can't fault the place. Will be back. Logs and burners, milk, basic washing facilities, and toilets are all on site. Owners are very prompt in their response if you have any concerns on-site with noise or facilities. All you need to do is message and they will fix any issues if made aware of them. Thank you to Heather and the Team, we'll see you again soon.
