I had a great time staying at the Phoenix Rise Retreat. Julian was an excellent and friendly host and was exceptionally helpful, such as making me a walking stick when I injured my tendon. The room was comfortable, bright, very clean, and decorated in a lovely way. There was also a nice common area. The sound proofing was good because even with other guests staying, I was not disturbed by any sounds at night. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Glastonbury again.

We had the most wonderful stay! We booked a last minute weekend stay and it's was perfect. Warm, clean and very comfortable! The host Julian is such a lovely and interesting man, we felt very looked after during our stay and it was wonderful spending some time chatting! Very much reccomend staying here whilst visiting Glastonbury, excellent location and the house has a beautiful warm energy ✨️

What a wonderful and peaceful place! We stayed for three nights/four days and had the best stay. Julian met us as we arrived to show us to our room, and gave some excellent suggestions on places to go and see. The house is beautifully decorated, and just a lovely space to sit and relax in. As a bonus it is right at the base of the Tor and only 20 minutes into town by foot. We look forward to our next visit! 10/10 will come again!

Fantastic place to stay if you're visiting Glastonbury. Clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. It's all these things and much more thanks to Julian who looks over phoenix rise like a guardian, giving the place a real touch of warmth. A far cry from places like Premier Inn!
