What visitors say
Stunning. Beautiful house and grounds and a bo us little farm with pigs, po ies and sheep, also 3 types of geese and a peahen with her chicks..so much history and things to be in awe of.. A wonderful place to feel extremely welcome and nostalgic. Very interesting. Well worth a visit. The shop has some lovely items and I can throughly recommend buying some meat and eggs if you can. The sausages were delicious and the eggs, orange full yolks and dreamy.

What an incredible day at the recent Tudor Midsummer event! The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful: everything was immaculate, and the gardens were a joy to wander through. What really made the experience, though, were the reenactors. Every person I spoke to stayed completely in character while being so welcoming, knowledgeable and generous with their time. It truly felt like stepping back into the 1550s rather than simply watching people in costume. You can see the passion and dedication that goes into every detail. I left wishing I'd booked a second day because there was still so much to see. I can't recommend Kentwell Hall highly enough and will definitely be back.

I've visited several times, both for re-creation events and gardens and house. It's a beautiful place to visit with extensive gardens and the house is beautiful. The Tudor events are fantastic, you feel like you're stepping back in time, very educational and entertaining. It's a lovely place to visit, not cheap, but if you have historic houses membership then on event days it's under £10. Well worth a day trip

Visited last week - first time visiting NOT on an event day. An absolute must. Strongly recommend visiting both on and off an event day. More of the house is open (compared to the last event I went to, there was so much going on at the event you definitely didn't need the full house open), and so much of the house is open! The rooms and contents are excellent, so interesting, love the information signs that really show the life of the house. The grounds are superb (even in the current drought), interesting and imainative. All in all there is so so much to see, give yourself plenty of time (I ended up rushing with 4 hours 😂). Had lunch (on a weekday), lovely food and cake 😊 (Don't want to add pictures that'll take away the surprises!)
