About Willowmere Caravan Park
Willowmere Caravan Park is a compact campground near Sudbury, offering a low-key experience rather than a sprawling site. The pitches are level and well-maintained, with hot showers on site. The pace here is unhurried; it's the kind of place where staff know guests and the atmosphere stays calm even during peak times.
The park suits families and those wanting a peaceful base without the hustle of a larger operation. A pub is just up the road, and there is enough quiet here to make it a genuine retreat rather than a stopover. Facilities are kept clean and in good order.

What visitors say
Old style Sweet little campsite out of the rat race suitable for little tents to what I saw big motorhomes. Nice to see a camp actually full and with life. Kids can play safe, some bbq some just reading a good book, wildlife and walks to get anything. Staff always at hand on the bell. Cash and bacs accepted. Wi-Fi is slim but will do but hey you’ve come camping make use of the decent pubs and outlets locally

Wonderful small site, peaceful setting. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Nice electric hook up pitch. Water on site. All facilities that are required for camping /caravan/motorhomes are on tap. Shower/toilet block clean and lovely hot showers! So many nice people on site, all ages and all behaved impeccably. Nice to see people all enjoying themselves. No wonder people like it here. It’s simple and quiet and not far to walk to the Henny Swan pub which you must try ! Booking required though. (Walking to the Henny involves taking the public footpath opposite to the right of the site and takes you over a railway track into a field (via a stile) walk straight towards the bridge in the distance and the pub is round to the right .. you can’t miss it) Thanks for a lovely weekend stay.

Visited willowmere campsite this weekend with my wife and children, very friendly owners onsite, we visited lots of the historic villages around the area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, toilet and shower facilities were spotless unlike many we have visited in the passed. Great value aswell.

The site is small but has all that is needed for a basecamp. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Nearly all the pitches are flat and there are a couple of ponds on site. However, be aware there is NO WiFi and phone reception is not brilliant either! Staff are all friendly. I would come back if it was just going to be a base for the duration of my stay.
