Billy Bob's Parlour

First time visiting Billy Bob's parlour. I was really impressed, the decor is spot on for American dinning experience. We had a table booked in the school bus and it was amazing. The food was tasty and the milkshakes are a must buy. We came throughout the week so it was really quiet. It's got loads of outdoor play for kids and the huge barn with big slides. It's a great day out for the family, can't wait to visit again.

Love coming here. The place and setting is a throwback to an old school American diner. Food options are great and the skillet hash was delicious. The brisket literally fell apart on the fork it was that tender. We had lunch on the school bus which my daughter loved. The play barn was brilliant for £3 is great value for money as there is loads to do. The outside play area is excellent and has lots for little ones to do. We of course finished our visit with some over cream and the flavours were lovely. Every team member we interacted with was lovely and are a credit to Billy Bobs. Thanks for a wonderful visit and see you again next time we are in the area.

We visited Billy Bob's at Calm Slate Farm, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, on Saturday afternoon, 6th June 2026. From the moment we arrived, it was easy to see why this place is so popular. We were glad we had booked a time slot in advance, as the restaurant was extremely busy throughout our visit. The approach to the venue is via a well maintained private entrance road, clear signage, and a massive car park offering lovely countryside views. The outdoor seating and dining area is excellent, particularly for families, with a large children's play area featuring plenty of different activities and play equipment. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Despite how busy the restaurant was, tables were turned around quickly and professionally, ensuring a smooth experience for arriving guests. Children were given menus, colouring pages, and a large pot of colouring pencils, which was a great idea and kept the children busy for a good while. One of the standout features of Billy Bob's is the incredible American themed décor. Both inside and outside, the restaurant is packed with Americana memorabilia that creates a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. We spent quite a while exploring and admiring everything on display. The full size American school bus used as a dining area and the silver trailer coffee station were very impressive. We also loved browsing the merchandise available to purchase, including caps, T-shirts, drink sampler kits, and other souvenirs. Ordering and paying at the table was simple and convenient, and our food arrived remarkably quickly considering how packed the restaurant was. The portions were generous, filling, and excellent value for money. The highlight of the meal for me was the veggie burger. Quite simply, it was the best veggie burger I have ever eaten. Having travelled and eaten in many establishments in various countries around the world, that is not a statement I make lightly. This is the burger that will bring me back to Billy Bob's time and time again. I asked a senior member of staff about it and was told that it is one of their most popular items and is made using their own recipe. I also appreciated the option to customise burgers with a variety of additional toppings, including chillies, something that many establishments do not offer. The other thing we appreciated was proper brand root beer. There was also a well-stocked sauce station with a great selection of condiments and toppings to suit all tastes. Despite the constant flow of customers, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, baby changing station in the gents also. We also noticed that the restaurant offers an adults only dining area. Unfortunately, we simply did not have room for dessert after our meal, which is a shame because everything looked fantastic on the menu and the Icecream station. Billy Bob's delivered an outstanding dining experience with fantastic food, excellent service, generous portions, unique surroundings, and a great family friendly atmosphere. Lots of things to do on site, such as the playbarns and if your in the Myerscough area they have another branch there with the Worlds only Coke truck that you can dine in. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already counting down the weeks until we return. This is our own experience with this business, and we know different clients will have different experiences but we always leave reviews based on the service we received when we ordered or visited.

Very nice place and atmosphere to go with whole family and kids. Very nice food, very nice ice cream (8/10) Very nice outdoor activities for kids. Good parking spaces and good facilities. Food was overall nice 7/10 Philadelphia cheese steak was brilliant 10/10 Fries 10/10 Burgers and pancakes 6/10 Prices are at expected rates. Ice cream is good 8/10 Its not gelato its ice cream. Very wide flavours variety to choose from. All outdoor areas are very nice for kids to play and they enjoyed it very much. Will definitely go back again for the kids. Will try chicken wings and milkshake next. ————- 2nd review; All as above Chicken sandwich 4/10 🙄 Sorry guys, it looks amazing, has a good portion and is well presented, but the taste is not right. Chicken wings and Milkshake are 10/10 They are made to perfection Super well done for these 2 items Wow I think these were my best 2 items on the menu. Customer service this time felt better and it was a very busy day. Thank you guys for the effort. This time I asked another family to join and they were amazed with most things, even more than me. However, they commented on the burger and chicken sandwich as not the best as well. And were very happy both Philly cheese steak sandwich. See pics below for food
