Ferry View is a six-bedroom detached house sleeping 14, set on the River Thurne near Martham Ferry. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, making self-catering straightforward for a large group. On-site parking accommodates four cars, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
The ground floor contains a utility room, games room with snooker table, table tennis and pool table, a bedroom with shower room, and access to the gardens. Upstairs, the open-plan living space has a wood-burning stove, Freeview and DVD, and French doors to a balcony. Four further bedrooms occupy this floor—three doubles and one twin—each with ensuite or shower facilities. The top floor holds the sixth bedroom, a double with two singles and its own bathroom with bath and shower.
The property sits on the river with its own mooring available on request, and fishing is possible from the grounds (a licence is required). The Broads are close by for boating, and the surrounding lanes suit walking and cycling. There is an unfenced river in the grounds, which matters if you're travelling with young children. No smoking throughout the house.

Great property for a large family. Very big with lots of space to spread out, fantastic games room with a full sized snooker table, pool table, table tennis table, and football table. A nice big cinema room with 75" TV and lots of soft seating was fantastic. Great location on the waterside with a boatyard next door. Top floor bedroom is a good family room with a double and two single beds. However this is accessed by a spiral staircase which is unsuitable for elderly or very small children. Location is quite remote, nearest shop and pub is in Martham 1.5 miles down the road.

This is the ultimate group house. The games room is amazing as is the cinema room. With views out over the broads it’s a real chill out zone.

A truly fabulous house with a superb games room and cinema room. The kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Plenty of room for our party of 7 adults and 2 teens. The broad views were beautiful and the wrap-around balcony was great to watch the boats go past and watch the birds. We look forward to staying again in the future.
