Thurnefield Holiday Homes - Cherry Tree Cottage
Great Yarmouth
View on Google MapsCherry Tree Cottage sits in countryside that opens onto two of Norfolk's major draws: the Broads are close enough for a walk to the water's edge, and the coast lies just 7 miles away. Winterton-on-Sea and Horsey Gap, where grey seals haul out in winter, are within easy reach. The village of Potter Heigham, with its riverside walks, shops and cafes, is a short stroll via the towpath along the River Ant.
The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a ground-floor double and upstairs two singles—with one bathroom. The ground floor is open-plan, combining living space, dining and kitchen in one room; the kitchen has what you need to cook properly, from oven and hob to fridge and microwave. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Out the back is your own garden with seating and a barbecue, plus access to larger shared lawns where the whole site comes together. Two cars can park on the property.
This works well for families, couples or friends wanting a base for the Broads or beach, though note it's no-smoking throughout. One dog is welcome. The Wind Energy Museum is nearby if you're interested in Norfolk's renewable energy landscape.
