What visitors say
Went on the paddleboard for a river tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pilot was informative and told us about some of the houses along the banks of the river. Can sit either upstairs or in the cabin.

The broads are even more beautiful than I expected, full of birds, butterflies, flowers and sheep. Wheelchair access is tricky but I managed to get to more places than I thought might be possible. It comes alive at dusk.

My family and I visited the broads just recently. It is an absolutely beautiful place in good weather, when the weather changes to rain and wind it can be a different story. We were on a hire boat and needed to find moorings every night. Most moorings are free but these are usually in places with no facilities. If you are on a boat you do generally need electricity or water top up. Do your research! Make sure you check bridge heights and tide times. The yacht stations are a handy help for information if in doubt.

I love to come back to the Broads in the spring and in the summer. You can relax here either on land or water. There are miles of footpaths through the Broads and many boats to rent to spend some quality time on the water. You can also bring your own floating equipment like a canoe or paddle board.
