The 45-acre grounds are beautiful and incredibly peaceful to explore, with wonderful sculptures integrated throughout the woodlands and around the lakes. The autumnal colors were stunning. We also really enjoyed the café, with lots of choice and delicious homemade food. Highly recommended if you are in the area

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. It’s huge, the gardens when we visited in late May were amazing, so many colours and scents. Beautiful place to walk round, you could spend hours here. There’s a tea room and children’s playground. The sculptures are fascinating, some very arty, others are based on animals, there are huge ponds, lots of uphill and downhill sections. You can buy an annual ticket which makes sense if you can get here through the seasons and admire trees and shrubs as they change throughout the year. There’s loads of routes around the park, try to get round them all as the views are fantastic.

Visited on a Saturday, a birthday treat from my family. It was fantastic seeing how nature, the sculptures, the waters and the buildings as well as the amazing colours of the flowers all complimented each other. There is a cafe, near the main entrance. Also main toilet facilities. Quite a few steps down initially, but a porta loo, and a drinks and ice-cream kiosk, saving having to navigate the steps for a drink or the loo 😅 Loads of benches to sit and soak up the atmosphere and have a breather. Parking was ample and easy enough when we visited. We spent approximately four hours here, "bearing in mind I have issues with mobility and had quite a few rest breaks" we got to see lots of the sculptures and had some wonderful photo opportunities. We didn't cover the whole of the park, which gives us a great excuse for us to visit again. 👍💕

Stunningly beautiful. Visited on a perfect day and this place just screams serenity. I think you need at a minimum 2-3 hours here, though you could easily just spend the day here leisurely taking everything in. There are so many lovely little paths filled with hidden visual treasures. The landscape, art and nature all just melt together in harmony. I like how the art can be purchased. It ranges from a couple of hundred to thousands of pounds, but I like how it is actually supporting the artist community. It's like browsing an outdoor at gallery. Sometimes you need to spend the time to read the detail behind the piece to fully appreciate it. Cons: the cafe was ok. Selection was mediocre and a little overpriced. I felt tickets were also overpriced at £16 per person. There are toilets near the entrance, but that's it really. On the other side of the garden that have a porta cabin, but... well, not pleasant as expected. Considering the price of the tickets I think it could do with better facilities on this point. I very nearly knocked this down a star, but the garden is really really lovely.
