Ivy Bank Staycation

Stayed here on saturday to test out the tentbx and it was amazing. From the minute we parked up the staff were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble what a lovely team, and the food in their cafe was fantastic worth the drive there alone. Lovely clean showers and toilets and a cosy little kitchen for your charging needs and theres a microwave fridge etc. We hired a fire pit and next time will hire their hot tub too. The site was beautiful, clean and quiet and just such a lovely vibe. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

We had a great stay at Ivy Bank Staycation! We pitched our tent on the secure dog pitch, which was a fantastic size and perfect for the doggies, they absolutely loved it! 🐶 The toilets and showers were amazing and very well looked after. There’s also a lovely walk just off the site which was perfect for taking the dogs out. Such a lovely quiet site, with amazing food offered at the café. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. we’ll definitely be back!

Our friends booked this site for themselves and us to take out touring caravans to. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Electric hook ups are very limited but he sorted us out and we were in a relatively empty field next to each other. There was a mix of camping and campervans mostly, we were the only two tourers. Grass pitches and pretty relaxed with where you pick your spot. If you are used to sites ran by big corporations then this site isn't that. It's cool and quirky with a lovely little cafe, small but clean showers and toilets and when we were there he had a license for the Saturday allowing him to serve alcohol as the pub within walking distance was closed for refurbishment. As well as the camping there is also a double decker bus that sleeps 6 you can hire (with it's own hot tub) Shepard's huts and a converted horse box (hot tub with that one too) You can even hire a hot tub which they will bring to your pitch on a trailer. Stunning views over the surround countryside and the nearby village is within easy walking distance. Definitely check out the butchers as everything we tried was gorgeous. Probably one of the best scotch eggs we've ever had. 15 minutes drive roughly into Ripon so it's a great place to stay and explore the area. Highly recommend. The UK needs more of these cool, privately ran sites. Will definitely be back again soon for another stay. *****

What a great campsite! Our 5th visit, and we love it here. Bank holiday weekends are busy everywhere - they should be - but we honestly never had to queue once for the loos/ showers (toasty warm) or wash up sinks. Great to see families having fun, including our own . Such friendly owners and staff, they have thought of everything including a room with fridge/freezer/ kettle /microwave etc for those who need to use them. We hired a large hot tub - brilliant value and such fun, and had a fire at night. How good can it get? Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
