The team here are lovely- I had some Booking.com issues but the team contacted them and resolved for me. I arrived last night after a long drive to a very warm welcome, an upgraded room and ice cold beer -10 / 10 customer service - This is my place to stay for local work! I was part of my niece’s wedding party, staying in this beautiful venue, Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd May 26. So many of our family and friends booked into the hotel for the Saturday night, even though all lived local. Everyone had so much to say about how wonderful the staff were, the food was exquisite, rooms were fabulous. We were lucky to be blessed with stunning weather.

I stayed here on business. The manor is lovely. I stayed on the stable part of the manor ground and it was great. The room was cleaned to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. The room facilities were great and if you needed any extras you could get them from reception. Only thing I would have liked is a bigger mug for teas and coffee. The breakfast was continental and or a cooked breakfast. I had an evening meal in the pig and whistle. The food was very tasty and ate big portions so was very filling. The staff throughout were very friendly, warm and couldn't do enough. Great place to stay and will be going again

What a lovely hotel, just had a great overnight stay and enjoyed a 7 course tasting menu. Go with an appetite as the portions are not small and the food is superb. We had a standard room which was spacious and beautifully decorated. I can not praise the staff enough, they were all friendly, polite and efficient
