Bryn Derw

Caernarfon's castle and town centre sit three miles away, but Bryn Derw occupies quieter countryside on the edge of Snowdonia, where sheep farming surrounds the property. This detached barn conversion has been adapted for guests wanting space to spread out: three bedrooms (a double, two singles, and a kingsize), one bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower, and a kitchen with full cooking facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. The living room opens onto a garden with seating, and there is parking for three cars on site.

One dog can stay free and is welcome throughout the property, though the rural setting means it must be kept on a lead. The nearby village pub in Llandwrog is dog-friendly and serves food and local ale. Dinas Dinlli beach, also welcoming dogs, lies a short drive away, and a Blue Flag beach is under four miles off. The Welsh Highland narrow-gauge railway runs close by for trips into the mountains; Zip World and other attractions are within easy reach for days out. Guests have wi-fi, bed linen and towels included, and underfloor heating powered partly by solar panels.

The property is non-smoking. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
