Cil Y Felin is a one-bedroom bungalow where everything happens on a single level. You step into a living room with a woodburner and French doors onto the garden, a kitchen with a breakfast area and full cooking facilities, and a bedroom with an ensuite shower. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property sits just outside Caernarfon in Eryri National Park, and the Welsh Highland Steam Railway runs past the boundary—a particular draw for those interested in heritage railways.
An enclosed, lawned garden provides an outdoor space with seating, and there is parking for one car on site. Essentials including wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants within a short walk, and the area offers access to riverside walks and attractions across Snowdonia. Note that the grounds contain drops and steps up to the garden, and infants in arms are the only children accommodated. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

This is a fabulous place to stay. It was immaculate with everything you needed. The shower is excellent. The garden is well fenced so we didn't have to worry when we let our dog out. The surroundings are very pretty, and the river opposite is nice to walk round. The steam train runs along the back of the garden, but unfortunately for us, it was too early in the year, so it wasn't yet operating. The owners live next door and are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you, Steve and Alison.

This is a great cottage, owners are very welcoming and cottages has all you need for your stay. Great garden which is all fenced in so dog can wonder around on own. So many walks from the door and steam train run past the garden. I have now returned to this cottage every year love it.

We have just spent a week at this lovely cottage, it had everything we needed, very cosy and warm, beautiful garden for our dog to explore and there was plenty of wildlife to watch through the back doors. The owners were very nice people who chatted with us a few times. The cottage is not too far away from some beautiful walks, and other places to visit. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to stay in Beddgelert.

Absolutely cracking place to stay in Beddgelert. We were right beside a narrow gauge railway (The Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) or Rheilffordd Eryri) and had the River Glaslyn and the grave of Gelert on the other side. The one bedroom holiday cottage has a landscaped enclosed garden which is great for the dog, and also stops the sheep coming in. The cottage has got a woodburning stove, but also C.H. too which gets toasty inside pretty quickly. It has an dedicated integral laundry/drying room, which is a very handy piece of kit when you get back soaked from a walk in the countryside. The hosts Alison and Steve are a delightful couple, and are onsite if any help is required.
