Eithinog Ganol
Gwynedd
Gwynedd's countryside offers dramatic mountain backdrops and coastal access in equal measure. Eithinog Ganol sits on its own private track across rolling farmland, a converted farmhouse that retains the character of rural North Wales while functioning as a modern holiday base. The position works for both: Snowdonia National Park and sandy beaches lie within reach, and from here you can see across to Anglesey on clear days.
Inside, four bedrooms sleep eight across two floors. Two have kingsize beds; two contain single bunks. A ground-floor shower room and upstairs bathroom with bath mean people needn't queue. The kitchen is equipped for cooking properly—electric range, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave—and there's a separate utility room with washing machine. The living room has Freeview, Netflix and a DVD player; a woodburner keeps things warm, with fuel included. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. One dog stays free, and there's an enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue; the hot tub seats six. Private parking fits four cars. No smoking inside. Caernarfon's castle, restaurants and shops are nearby; a narrow-gauge steam railway runs into the mountains from the town, and there's a small airfield for pleasure flights.
