The Woollen Mill - Snowdon
Gwynedd

Built in 1776, this former woollen mill has been converted into a ground-floor apartment that sleeps four, with a double bedroom and a twin, plus a shower room and open-plan living space. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and there's a sitting area with garden furniture outside. Electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included; the owners live on-site. One car can park here, and one well-behaved pet stays free.
The mill sits on the River Llyfni with woodland and rural views in all directions. A sandy beach lies within five miles, and the National Park is on the doorstep for walkers and climbers. Caernarfon castle, the Welsh Highland Railway and Zip World Velocity are all nearby. The river is unfenced in the grounds, so caution is needed around young children. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Just stayed here for a week and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Really welcoming hosts and a lovely doggy bag on our arrival for our two dogs. Really dog friendly and would stay again.

Just returned from a week in the Snowdon cottage at The Woollen Mill and it was absolutely spot on. The place was immaculate, and we were greeted on arrival by the loveliest host — they even surprised us with a little goodie bag for our dog, which was a brilliant touch. The location is perfect for exploring North Wales, with loads of great spots only a short drive away. Would happily stay again.

Excellent accommodation. Great garden for relaxing by the river or throwing a ball for the dog. Highly recommended. We have just stayed a second time. Although the weather wasn't great, the apartment lived up to expectations. Great hosts.

Just returned from a wonderful week at the tryfan cottage at the woollen mill. Fantastic location with the stream outside and a lovely garden with lots of birds and squirrels to watch. The cottage inside is lovely and comfortable and our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Its also a very dog friendly cottage and our two slept as well as we did. We will certainly be returning.
