Grafog Farm Cottage

Photo: Grafog Farm Campsite & Holiday Cottage

In the village of Groeslon, near Caernarfon, Grafog Farm Cottage sits on working farmland with views across to both the Welsh coast and the peaks of Snowdonia. The setting gives a real sense of countryside peace while keeping you close to the beach and mountain trails—the Inigo Jones Slate Works, a remnant of the area's industrial past, is within walking distance.

The cottage sleeps seven across four bedrooms: two kingsize doubles, one smaller double, and a single. Downstairs there's a living room with a woodburner, a kitchen with an Aga and modern appliances, and a utility room with a washer-dryer. A separate toilet is on the ground floor alongside a cloakroom. Upstairs, one bathroom serves the bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are all included, as is Wi-Fi. The grounds have enclosed gardens front and back with seating and a barbecue (April to October), and there is private parking on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property is no-smoking.

This works well for family groups or friends seeking a base to explore both the coast and Snowdonia without the bustle of a town centre. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The rooms were fantastic, as its our caravan, lovely little sight, slightly sloping but within the lock and levels capacity. Little bit of road noise, but superbly fitted out. One gents toilet, one ladies toilet, 2 showers and a great enclosed washing up area, with a fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, hand wash/ shaving sinks and patio chairs to borrow and a seating area. Really nice site, great location as a hub, we will be back.

Very good campsite. Toilets and showers very well kept and perfect surroundings. Road is close but noise from the road didn’t affect us at all

Wow,wow,wow….. That’s all I can say!!! This isn’t just a cottage, not a holiday place, It’s a home!!! A proper (bad English) family home. Simon and Serena have created the perfect home from home you ever want. From a lounge with log burner to die for, a kitchen with an Aga that makes you want cook on for days on end, and beds that make you want to snuggle and sleep all day and rest. The best thing about it all they accept dogs too and are soooo accommodating with them ours loved it so much. Please, please book and stay and relax and travel and just enjoy, I promise you will love it. Simon and Serena well done you absolutely perfection ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful and cosy cottage, our favourite one yet! Very well equipped with everything you need and more - the welcome pack was very thoughtful too. The beds were extremely comfy and the stream outside was a bonus! Brilliant location and great hosts - can’t wait to return already!
