Groeslon sits in quiet countryside between Caernarfon and the North Wales coast, with views stretching down towards Dinas Dinlle and across to Anglesey beyond. Fox's Lair Farmhouse is a rural base for six people, combining space with practical comfort for families or small groups wanting both seaside days and inland exploration.
The property spreads across two floors. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space connects to a separate lounge with a woodburner, and a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, air fryer and washing machine. A ground-floor bathroom has both bath and shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one single, one twin with an additional single bed, and one double with a single bed and its own shower room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wi-fi are included. The front garden has a patio with furniture and parking for two cars on site.
Dinas Dinlle beach—a stretch of sand backed by cliffs with views across the Strait—is a short drive away. The area suits families wanting to combine coastal walks and swimming with quieter days exploring the Gwynedd countryside. No smoking throughout the property.

Our 2nd stay at Fox's Lair and another great time there. Able to shut off from the world but only round the corner from all the great attractions & scenery of North Wales, Snowdonia & Llyn Peninsula. The best hosts in Andy, Dilys & the delightful Benji

We stayed at Fox's Lair Farmhouse at the end of May, what can I say, an amazing location and a beautiful farmhouse, the house was wonderfully presented, very clean and tidy with everything that we needed included. We managed to get so much done as it was as near a perfect location as we could have wished for and the owners are the nicest couple. It was really nice to be able to just shut off and enjoy the gorgeous weather in such a beautiful location, the sunsets that we had were breathtaking. Oh and we cant wait to visit them again, soon we hope.

Lovely cottage, clean, spacious with private garden and views over Irish Sea and Anglesay. Perfect location for exploring North Wales whether you're up for hiking trips, beach break or visiting local attractions like Caernarfon Castle, Welsh Highland Railways etc. Owners Andy and Dilys are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend 👌
