Little Hideaway

Gwynedd

The Llŷn Peninsula offers quiet countryside on the edge of Snowdonia, with coastal paths, beaches and mountain walks within reach. Little Hideaway sits in its own meadow with views towards Yr Eifl, a private lake below, and enough space around it to feel genuinely remote—though a pub is within a mile if you want to venture out. Portmeirion is close enough for a day trip.

This shepherd's hut sleeps two in a double bed and has an en suite shower room. The interior combines rustic character with practical comfort: a wood-burning stove for warmth, a kitchen area with oven and hob for proper cooking, and a fridge freezer. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. A Bluetooth speaker, radio and hot water are on hand, and outside there's a fire pit with logs for your first night, seating for meals and drinks, and a barbecue. One small dog is welcome. Parking is behind the hut.

The setting suits couples looking to disconnect and spend time outdoors, whether that's slow breakfasts in the meadow, sunset drinks by the fire, or days exploring the peninsula and returning to stillness. No smoking inside the hut.
