Little Hut
Gwynedd
A shepherd's hut built for two, Little Hut sits alone in open countryside on the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, with views reaching towards the Yr Eifl mountains. The rural setting is genuinely quiet, though a pub is within a mile and the coast is close enough for a quick trip. Portmeirion and the edge of Snowdonia National Park are also nearby for days out.
Inside, the hut makes efficient use of its compact space. You get a double bed, a shower room with flushing toilet, and a wood-burning stove where logs are provided. The kitchenette has an oven, two-ring hob, fridge freezer and the usual cooking basics—enough to prepare proper meals rather than just heating things up. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside is a seating area, a fire pit for the evening, and a barbecue for simpler suppers; parking is just behind the hut. No smoking is permitted. This property is for couples or two people travelling together who want a retreat with genuine solitude and the chance to walk, explore nearby beaches and coastal paths, then return to somewhere warm and contained.
