Groups and large families will find QH Cottages - Glan Y Mor works well for a gathering that needs space to spread out. The whole property is yours alone, with eight bedrooms arranged across four floors, each with its own bathroom. Bedrooms vary between doubles, kingsize beds, and bunks, offering flexibility for different combinations of guests. Two travel cots and two highchairs are available on request, plus a stairgate for families with younger children.
The main living spaces encourage people to congregate or disperse as they choose. A wide bay window in the lounge frames views toward the sea, while the games room provides somewhere for cards and board games when the weather doesn't suit the beach opposite. The kitchen and dining area are substantial enough to handle cooking and eating as a group, and there's an enclosed garden with sitting-out furniture at the back. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and wi-fi are included; one pet stays free of charge.
Criccieth's shops and cafés sit within easy walking distance, and the castle between the two beaches is worth a visit. Snowdonia National Park, Portmeirion, the Llŷn Peninsula and the Ffestiniog Railway are all within reasonable reach for day trips. The property is non-smoking throughout.

A lovely big house, not modernised to death which makes it much more authentic. A very well equipped kitchen which is handy. Not far from aldi and Lidl in portmadoc. Tesco too. Great that everyone has their own en suite per bedroom. The ground floor bedroom is quite small and next to the games room, something to bear in mind. Also no wardrobe space in that one. The other bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, but you need to be quite mobile to go up and down to the top floor. If you're planning a big group holiday I'd definitely recommend this house.

We stayed at this beautiful home with extended family while visiting from the United States. Every bedroom was spectacular. The common areas are large and accommodate the entire group. This included both the dining area and the lounge. I’ve stayed in large homes before, but they’ve never had seating for everyone in all areas at the same time. The weather was fantastic when we stayed. We looked out over the bay and saw wildlife. Our boys enjoyed ambling along the coast exploring. There are fantastic walking routes available and local dining is plentiful. I most enjoyed the bedroom that we had with an en-suite & a bunk room for our boys. They were close by, but also separate from my husband and I. This was a really great feature. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Close to the shops for essentials. I can’t wait to return. The host is one of the best holiday let hosts I’ve ever come across.

Stayed here twice! Both times after a long & tiring journey from Scotland with large family in tow. The location was my priority with good access to coastal & mountain walks and local activities. Glan y Mor had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped, rooms are large & comfortable so our varied age ranges got to mix well & get their own space when needed. The last night we went out to Dylan’s to eat & can recommend that too! Housekeeping to a very high standard & owner was helpful when we stupidly left something important behind. Hopefully booking again this Autumn.
