Step straight into Riverside Cottage's living room, where a wood-burning stove and smart TV create an immediate sense of comfort. The ground floor is arranged simply: that living space flows into a kitchen-dining room fitted with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer, making it easy to self-cater. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided.
The cottage opens to a back garden with patio and furniture, stepping down to direct river access. The garden has a low boundary wall; the river itself is unfenced. This is very much a peaceful base in Beddgelert village, surrounded by the mountains and forests of Snowdonia National Park. The village has a post office, a small shop, cafés and an ice cream parlour, plus considerable history—the area is known for walking, climbing, cycling and water sports, and the Welsh Highland Railway runs to Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Sygun Copper Mine is nearby. One well-behaved pet is welcome; smoking is not.
