Gwynedd's quieter corners hold their own appeal. Away from the busier tourist trails, Tan Yr Ardd Bach sits on a working farm down a country lane, yet still within reach of the region's main draws. The cottage is a single-storey property sleeping two, privately yours for the duration of your stay, with off-street parking for one car and room for up to three dogs (they must be kept on leads). Ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate.
Inside, the open-plan space combines living and dining areas around a woodburner, with a fully fitted kitchen for self-catering. The bedroom has a king-size bed; the shower room includes underfloor heating. Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, along with initial logs for the stove. A patio with garden furniture opens to views of a small stream running through the grounds. The nearest shop and pub are in Bontnewydd. Dinas Dinlle beach, five miles away, faces across the bay towards Anglesey; the area is designated for its birdlife. Walking routes towards Snowdon begin nearby, as do Caernarfon Castle and Zip World.
