Trecco is a duplex apartment carved from a former church, retaining period character within its split-level layout. The ground floor holds two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower; upstairs, the living room and kitchen/dining space share the upper storey. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave-oven-grill combi—and there's a washing machine for longer stays. Freeview TV and DVD player are in the living room. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; heating is electric throughout. One car can park on site.
The apartment overlooks Cardigan Bay and sits within reach of Snowdonia National Park and the Lleyn Peninsula's quieter countryside. Porthcawl itself has restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance, plus a sandy beach and a castle on the headland. The harbour town of Porthmadog—home to the Ffestiniog Railway—is 4 miles away. Portmeirion, golf, fishing and riding are all accessible from here. Smoking is not permitted inside the property.

I have stayed at loads of park dean sites. We have always booked bronze caravans and never had a problem. We arrived for a week here entered the caravan the wardrobe was broken all furniture was really outdated and rundown. The carpets was dirty. Hairs and tobacco in the beds. In the main bedroom the mattress was to small for the bed and the pillows was lumpy. The walls had dirty marks all over then. They wasn't a single bin in the caravan. The window was really dirty inside and outside. There was rubbish and fag ends all around the caravan. When we went to complain to reception they argued saying we apparent it doesn't look like the caravan you booked but that's for marketing. I said that's false advertisement the caravan was much bigger and had a fireplace we booked. She then said she would get us a bin, windows cleaned and carpets. And all issues will be sorted. We asked to be moved. We had to argue for 45 minutes to get us upgraded to silver on Monday it was Saturday. So we stayed in that caravan they only clean the carpet and gave us a bin nothing else was done. We moved into silver caravan on Monday to which was infected with ants we informed the reception they gave us 3 sachets of sugar to put in a bowl outside the caravan. Said maintenance would be round next day with ant boxes. Never come by Thursday we was that infected they was crawling on us in our sleep. We left Thursday two days early. Never again worse holiday ever.

We at your park Dean resort Trecco Bay in a Gold Standard eight-berth caravan. We chose this grade under the impression that "Gold" represented your highest standard of quality and cleanliness, which proved to be highly misleading.Upon arrival, the caravan was in an dirty condition. Dog hair in the microwave, freezer, clumps of hair on the floor and poor repair work, When we raised this with reception, who said they would send a cleaning team around, after 10:30 on the Tuesday morning, a single person turned up at 17:30 when were were all in and eating out tea, someone called again the next day with a spray bottle and a cloth, we told them not to bother!!! we were also informed that the "Gold" rating only refers to square footage, not quality. Marketing a caravan as "Gold" under these circumstances is entirely deceptive to customers who expect a premium experience. Also were our caravan was situated, there was no outside seating Area as the front door of the caravan had a grass verge leading straight onto the road, as you can appreciate with a 2 and 3 year old, this was very unnerving, Also regarding the pictures on the web site were described to us as for illustration only, may i suggest a slightly more honest interpretation of this on your web site, I can attach a couple of photographs documenting the poor cleanliness for your review. Furthermore, our dining experience at The Boathouse was completely unacceptable. After waiting 40 minutes for our first meal, the food served to my family arrived cold. While we received a refund for the food, we were left with two very hungry children and could not risk waiting another 40 minutes for a replacement. Finally, the children’s entertainment was incredibly disappointing and lacked any proactive engagement or fun. My 3 year old granddaughter described it as boring. We felt that the time the supposed kids entertaiment was at tea time, meaning the kids would either miss out on their tea, and eat to late in the evening ! On the night of the kids' disco this lasted for only half an hour, again with no interaction, or atmosphere,The primary focus of the evening seemed to be the 7:30 PM bingo rather than the children. While the entertainment crew themselves were good, children were unable to use the dance floor during the showcase performance, preventing them from dancing at all. In short, your resort I feel failed to deliver what was advertised. And was quite happy for families to keep reaching into their pockets if the kids needed anything extra, and you all know how pester power work, as it's managed to a tea at this resort, We found our selves going off site to entertain the kids, which they enjoyed immensely,, needless to say we will not be booking again

The Nickelodeon Weekender was fantastic! We visited with my sister’s family and had an absolutely wonderful time. We pre-booked activities and swimming sessions each day, which made everything run smoothly. The location is ideal, with beautiful beaches just a short walk away. One nearby beach had a ramp, making it easier to access with a pushchair. The entertainment was outstanding. The performers brought so much energy and talent that the shows were genuinely enjoyable for both adults and children alike. We loved Truly Lionel and the Nashville Country performances, and the children loved Ultimate Taylor! The staff throughout the site were excellent, always keeping the tables clean and tidy, and the security team were friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful. A special mention goes to Ronnie on the Showdome doors—you’re a star! We’ll certainly be returning.
