🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Ty Hir

A restored 18th-century longhouse near Criccieth, Ty Hir sits on farmland where a trout stream runs through the property and fishing is available. The Llyn Peninsula cycle track lies 200 yards away, and the old railway path—now a hard-surfaced scenic route with views toward Snowdonia—passes within 100 yards. Criccieth's medieval castle, beaches and restaurants are 6 miles off; Caernarfon is 12 miles further.

The cottage is arranged entirely on one level: a living room with woodburner and books, a kitchen/dining space with an Aga and full cooking facilities, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), and a bathroom. Everything needed for self-catering is provided, including bed linen, wi-fi and heating through the colder months. An enclosed garden with seating looks onto the farmland beyond. The owners farm nearby and can advise on local activities. One dog is welcome.

No smoking is permitted. Arrival is after 17:30 and checkout before 09:30.
