Abererch sits on the edge of the Lleyn Peninsula, a coastal area where Pwllheli's harbour is less than two miles away on foot and the beach is reachable by the same route. The Cambrian railway line runs through the village, connecting to Aberystwyth and beyond. Snowdonia is a 30-minute drive inland. Ty John is a cottage here that sleeps four across two bedrooms, with three bathrooms—a double with ensuite and walk-in shower on the first floor, a twin with ensuite bath on the same level, and a separate ground-floor toilet.
The ground floor is essentially one large space: living and dining areas flow into a kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, and windows onto an enclosed garden with patio seating. Upstairs, both bedrooms have heated towel rails and quality mattresses. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property is non-smoking. One dog can stay free of charge, and private parking at the rear can be arranged in advance if you're bringing a small boat or jet ski.
The village has a bus stop within 100 yards, and Ysgol Abererch is nearby. The location works well as a base for families and groups wanting coastal walks, mountain access or train journeys along the Cambrian line without a long commute from their accommodation.
