Fron Erch Cottages

Fron Erch Cottages suits families or small groups wanting a base near the coast without being in a busy resort. The converted stable buildings stand on the edge of Abererch, far enough from the village to feel secluded but within 15 minutes of the beach. Pwllheli's leisure centre and marina are two miles away, and the Lleyn Peninsula's combination of sandy bays and rocky headlands is easily explored from here. Snowdonia National Park is a short drive if you want mountain walks or outdoor activities.

The cottage has three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor, a single, and two singles upstairs, with one bathroom. The ground floor holds the living space—a room with a TV and DVD player, and a kitchen-diner with an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer. Electricity, heating, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included. A cot and highchair are available if needed. Outside, there's a garden with picnic benches and private parking for cars; if you're bringing a boat, parking space is provided for that too.

The location works well for families combining beach time with exploring the peninsula's quieter villages, or for couples wanting walking and coastal scenery. Sailing, fishing, horse riding and golf are all available nearby. Smoking is not permitted inside.
