About The Pod at Glan Morfa Ganol
Tucked away on the lovely Llŷn Peninsula, The Pod at Glan Morfa Ganol offers a proper couple's escape – just one adults-only pod in peaceful surroundings, less than a mile from Abererch's beach. The location strikes a nice balance: coastal walks and watersports are on your doorstep, while the dramatic mountain trails of Eryri National Park are within easy reach for those seeking hillier adventures.
The pod itself comes well-equipped with a double bed, TV, and compact kitchenette (microwave, toaster, fridge, utensils), plus an ensuite toilet and sink. Showers are a short stroll away in the modern block, though note there's no hot water – something to consider for winter stays. Pwllheli, ten minutes off, provides shops and eateries for stocking up before returning to your private seating area for quiet evenings under the stars.
With castles, gardens, and some of the peninsula's finest beaches nearby, there's plenty to tailor to your mood – or simply settle in and savour the seclusion.

Stayed in the Mill cottage for 10 nights in August. Even though it is a peak season and cottages/camping grounds are occupied, the site is very nice, clean and quiet. The hosts are fantastic, helpful and responded quickly to all the messages. We found cottage clean, spacious (for two of us) with lots of storage. Linen and towels were provided. Kitchen has basic utensils/dishes/devices and washing machine. TV with all the main channels and very nice, clean shower with good pressure. The one thing worth mentioning is that the site is right between a big road and railway tracks so if you are a light sleeper like I am this could be a problem. I always take ear plugs with me whenever I go so it wasn't too much of a problem for me. My son had wonderful sleep and didn't notice the noise. WiFi signal is very weak inside because the router for the area is in another cottage. If you sit just outside on the bench the signal is very good. We made friends with the two lovely cows and their babies living on the site. It was unforgettable experience watching calves having milk from udders right in front of us. Overall we had a really good holiday and the cottage was a wonderful place to get to in the evening after our adventures. Maria and Michael August 2024
