The Llyn Peninsula draws families back year after year for its beaches, coastal paths and proximity to Snowdonia. Inside, everything is on ground level. Three bedrooms sleep six: one double with an ensuite shower, and two pairs of single beds. The open-plan living area has a woodburner, freeview television and a breakfast bar adjoining the kitchen, which has a gas hob, electric oven and microwave. A second bathroom contains a walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating and hot water run on mains gas and electricity. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

Pwllheli town is moments away with shops, a golf course and a large beach. Porthdinllaen, known for its clifftop bar, lies nearby, as does Porthmadog with its heritage railway and the eccentric Portmeirion village. Abersoch is within easy reach, and the medieval castles at Criccieth and Harlech make good day trips. The area is good for spotting grey seals and seabirds along the water. Smoking is not permitted.
