Y Bwthyn

North Wales puts remarkable things within reach: Snowdon's mountain railway, zip-lining, castle grounds, and 125 miles of Anglesey's coastline all sit a short drive from this part of Gwynedd. Y Bwthyn stands on the fringes of Bangor, where the Wales Coastal Path runs nearby and old railway tracks offer walking routes through the area. A beach lies two miles away; a shop, pub and restaurant are half a mile off.

The cottage itself is detached, with four guests sleeping across two bedrooms—one with a four-poster double, the other with two single beds. Downstairs, a living room, kitchen/dining room, sun room and games room with pool table spread across the ground floor, alongside a bathroom with a spa bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There's a lawned garden to the rear and an enclosed patio with seating and a chiminea, plus parking for one car on site. The entrance involves three steps; a further six lead down to the patio. No smoking indoors.
