Well not been to a cinema for a long time so thought I’d treat myself to a vip seat which was a decent price also large popcorn also a Pepsi I know it can be a bit pricey but I didn’t mind paying it the cinema looked clean plus also very welcoming the staff were helpful so all in all I had a great experience the film was pretty good but yes I look forward to calling back the options I had were just right the whole cinema experience was like being a young again . The staff were super polite also helpful

The cinema itself is fine. I asked for 2 small boxes of popcorn and was given 2 large looking boxes (these were classed as small), at £7.50 per box. Please, please offer smaller boxes. 1) everywhere we are being told of children being obese. 2) the cost £15 for 2 boxes. Later I had to purchase some water, £3.49 per bottle!!!!!!

Vue cinemas are going under, to be fair so are most of the cinema chains. Vue Halifax has taken away all hospitality. Removing all the seating people could use when they are waiting for friends to arrive. They only have few staff. The escalators never work. Prices are premium for seats that are bog standard. Movies these days are sub-par anyway. So you're literally paying to come out, have to find a parking space and pay for it until 8pm now. Have often questionable customer service. All for a slightly bigger screen. When are cinema owners going to learn that it's promoting popular old movies that are going going to bring people back in? Back to the future, Harry Potter, The Matrix, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's diary, The princess bride etc. Cinemas don't hold any of the cards anymore, so they might as well offer the big screen to movies that are genuinely worth watching. People are watching reboots because they want the nostalgia. Give them the old films they are nostalgic for.

Vue Cinema in Halifax is a great spot for a relaxed film night. 🎬✨ It’s easy to find, with plenty of parking nearby, and the cinema itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The screens are a good size with clear picture and solid sound quality, making films really immersive. The seating is comfy, especially for longer movies, and there’s plenty of legroom compared to older cinemas. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the booking process is quick and straightforward through the app or at the kiosks. Snacks and drinks are what you’d expect from a cinema — a bit pricey, but decent selection. Overall, it’s a reliable place to catch the latest films without any fuss. Perfect for date nights, family trips, or just a bit of escapism on the big screen. 🍿
