About The Queens Hotel Harlech
The Queens Hotel sits in the centre of Harlech, a traditional coaching inn that has long served as one of the town's social hubs alongside its role as a place to stay. Rooms are simply furnished and comfortable, with the inn's own bar and restaurant on the ground floor serving pub food and a changing range of cask ales.
Its bar, known locally as the Queens Bar, is a popular stop for both residents and visitors, and the building's position in the heart of the town means the castle, shops and beach path are all within a few minutes' walk. The garden at the rear catches the afternoon sun and is a favourite spot for a drink after a day on the beach or the links.
For a straightforward, sociable base right in the middle of Harlech, with private parking and a proper local pub downstairs, the Queens Hotel is a long-standing favourite with returning visitors.

Superb food and beer and a very friendly welcome. Best pub for miles around. Menu is good pub food and the portions are generous. The service is spot on and the place is really nicely presented. HIGHLY recommend

Stayed here 6&7th June 2026 with my mum, sister and brother. Lovely place to stay, staff were welcoming and friendly, room was perfect, great shower and nice little touches. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast too. Considering there was a road out front and railway line behind, I hardly heard any noise, even from the pub below the rooms, i slept so well. Stunning view of the castle at night. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful place. Great views etc. Harlech castle brilliant. Not far from sea front. Car park to drive too. Hotel. Had parking. Mattress needs replacing. Metal furniture caused pain. Hit head on head post when bending down. Cut head. Didn't have a fan that sent out cold air. Weren't willing too accommodate my lactose intolerant. Like keep soya milk in fridge. Margarine. Etc.

This hotel has all you need and pasaz. Great location, situated right nextdoor to the castle, (PICTURESQUE), and town. Very well set out and excellent service, the food is so tasty, and huge portions. Good selection at the bar. The hosts Rachel, Liam and Jake can't do enough for you, and are really knowledgable. HIGHLIGHTS - atmosphere, location, food, comfy bed/rooms, great pillows, homely, great breakfast. The only complaint is, there is no complaint. You can not hear the school or railway station next-door. We will be back next year. Thanks for a great stay
