Pop-Up Woods and Meadows Campsite

We had such a wonderful spontaneous getaway at Woods and Meadows. Despite booking at the very last minute, the owners were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit me, my fiance ,our children, and our dog in for a family escape from London Bridge. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The bell tent was beautifully set up with everything we needed, and you could tell a lot of care had gone into creating such a relaxing space. The secluded location was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect place to switch off from everyday life. The owners were so welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the start. It was amazing to spend quality time together, watching our dog run freely, the kids enjoying the outdoors, and simply appreciating the little things in life. As parents of neurodiverse children, finding somewhere that feels safe, calm, and free from the usual pressures is incredibly valuable. Our children were able to explore, play, and be themselves without feeling restricted, which made the experience even more special. This was one of the best last-minute decisions we’ve made, and we’ll definitely be returning. This was my first time camping so i opted for the bell tent with interiors so i didnt have to stress over putting a tent up. The tent was ample for our needs, bed was comfy, it was clean, and the location was beautiful. We were in the wooded section of the site, and my daughter absolutely loved this. There was so much to explore and she was outside from early AM to late PM for entire stay. The owners were so friendly and accomodating which was lovely. All in all it was a positive camping experience for my first time! My 8 year old would agree vehemently!! Thank u for a wonderful weekend x

We had the most wonderful weekend at Woods and Meadows campsite with our group recently. We have been coming for several years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else for our camping weekend. Tiz and Jules are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make sure everything works well from booking right through to ensuring toilets and shower areas are spotlessly clean throughout the stay. The Friday pizzas are delicious too. Woods and Meadows is truly our happy place and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We have just come back from the most perfect bank holiday camping weekend at Woods & Meadows. Joules and the team were so accommodating and welcoming and the campsite struck the perfect balance between feeling wild and rustic but also carefully managed and thought through. And we loved the no music policy - it meant that in the evenings we sit peacefully around the campfire gazing at the stars, which made for a very relaxing time. The pizzas on Friday night saved us cooking and putting up the tent at the same time and were so delicious - and I even got to be one of the first to try out the wood fire sauna which was the perfect way to start our stay. Thank you so much, we will be back!
