Hastings itself sits a three-quarter mile walk away, or shorter still to the pub and shops that bookend the property. The Old Town remains a working fishing port where boats launch directly from the beach, and the seafront stretches for miles with the pier, amusement arcades, cliff paths, and galleries housed in the famous Art Deco Marine Court building. Smugglers Adventure in the cliff caves tells the story of 1800s contraband runners. Battle Abbey lies inland if you want to venture beyond the coast. The property takes no smokers.
