About Travelodge Hastings
Hastings Castle and the winding lanes of the Old Town are both an easy walk from Travelodge Hastings, and the seafront and pier are close enough for an evening stroll. The wider area also offers fishing spots, watersports and plenty of pubs and restaurants, making this a practical base for exploring the town rather than just passing through.
The hotel itself has 50 en-suite rooms across two floors, a number of which have been recently refurbished, and there's an accessible room option too. On-site you'll find a café-bar serving breakfast and evening meals, plus a bar for a drink after a day out, and drinks can be brought to your room if you'd rather stay in. Parking is available on site for a charge, with free street parking nearby when spaces allow, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need one.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the café-bar's food gets a good name locally. Some rooms show their age between refurbishments, and sound can carry between them, so light sleepers might want an end room. Pets are welcome, which suits those travelling with a dog for a coastal break.

What guests say
The room size was good. The bathroom had a leak coming from under the toilet. Some rust on the shower unit. They could do with putting in AC for hot weather, because the normal fan didn't cool the room. The receptionist chap was nice. We didn't eat there so don't know what the food was like. Overall it was ok.

Stayed here for a quick night over at Hastings whilst doing Pevensey and Battle. Does what it says on the tin, it was clean, room was absolutely fine (family room), breakfast was spot on and plentiful and fresh, staff were all polite and friendly! It's not 5 star luxury but certainly no issues from us!

I was moved to a different room as my 1st room was not clean and so hot I am pregnant and was put upstairs no lifts . So I was put on a lower floor that smells like mould and wet! Also not clean as there are hairs in my bed and bath the window don't open the much and there is no air-conditioning all you get in ur room is a fan!!! The don't reach you from where it is plugged and there is no pugs near the bed just USB port . My husband also got bit and was itchy when laying on the bed 🤢😢

Staff whete ok . Doesn't say on website you have to pay for parking . It was not expensive but that's not the point.
