About The Wheatsheaf Inn
Ten rooms are all The Wheatsheaf Inn has to offer, but that keeps things simple: this is a traditional pub hotel on Broad Street in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, built around the business of good food, a proper bar and a bed for the night. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in a town centre location, and it saves the usual hunt for a space after a long drive.
Rooms are straightforward and comfortable, with breakfast included and free WiFi throughout, so there's little to complicate a stay whether you're passing through or staying a few nights. The bar and restaurant anchor the ground floor, with a garden offering an outdoor spot when the weather allows, and 24 hour reception and a laundry service cover the practical side of things.
Haywards Heath itself sits within easy reach of local attractions and transport links, making the inn a workable base for exploring West Sussex or simply passing through on the way somewhere else. It's an unfussy, pub-first stay rather than a grand hotel experience.
