Quail Cottage

Quail Cottage began as a stable on a working farm in the Sussex Weald, then housed a pair of Rolls Royce motor cars before its conversion into holiday accommodation. The single open-plan living space occupies the ground floor, built around a vaulted ceiling with original timber beams and a high gable window that floods the room with daylight. Full-width doors open onto a garden and terrace with barbecue and furniture.

The bedroom contains a zip-and-link bed that sleeps two (made as a double, but can be configured as singles on request), with fitted oak wardrobes for storage. A shower room and compact galley kitchen complete the layout. Essentials including bed linen, towels, electricity and wi-fi are provided. On-site parking for one car is available.

The property sits within a network of footpaths and bridleways crossing the High Weald, with several notable gardens nearby. It is not suitable for children under 10 years old, and smoking is not permitted. Note that there is open water in the grounds.
