About Hazlewood Castle and Spa
Paradise Lane is the address, and Hazlewood Castle and Spa is the sort of building that lives up to it: a proper historic castle set within its own grounds in North Yorkshire, now working as a hotel with a spa and sauna alongside its period character. The mix of old stone walls and modern comfort gives the place a distinct sense of occasion without losing the practical business of a decent stay.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and room service, with drinks available in room and packed lunches on request for anyone heading out for the day. Accessible rooms and a lift are available, and the hotel also runs a bridal suite and wedding venue for couples, alongside meeting rooms and business services for those visiting on work. Guests can eat at the on-site restaurant or bar, and breakfast is included as part of the stay.
Outside, there are gardens and a picnic area to make use of, plus free on-site parking, laundry service, luggage storage and concierge help for planning time away from the hotel itself. The surrounding area suits walking and cycling, there's a golf course and a pub nearby, and pets are welcome, making Hazlewood Castle a fair base for exploring North Yorkshire at a slower pace.
