About The Oddfellows Arms

The Oddfellows Arms occupies a traditional pub building on Low Street in central Leeds, the kind of inn where the bar rather than the bedrooms sets the tone. With only six rooms, it stays small and personal rather than trying to be a full-scale hotel, and each room comes with a flat-screen TV and en-suite bathroom, plus air conditioning throughout.

Downstairs there are two bars, a restaurant and a game room, giving the place a sociable, lived-in feel, and breakfast is served on site. Guests also have access to a gym, spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool, a garden, and free WiFi, while those travelling for work can make use of meeting rooms and business services. An electric vehicle charge point and free on-site parking cover practical needs, and there's a laundry service and luggage storage for longer stays. The rooms themselves are kept simple and functional rather than luxurious.

It's set up for events too, with capacity as a wedding venue and concierge services on hand. Outside the door, Low Street sits near Kirkstall Abbey and Victoria Leeds, with further pubs, bars and restaurants close by for evenings out.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Was due to stay 3 night but left early as the bed/mattress were without doubt the most uncomfortable I have ever come across, The frame was exactly like Army surplus and mattress from 1975 Spanish hotels. (I was offered another bed for night 3 but decided not to chance a 3rd bad sleep) There was not even a chair to sit in so sitting on the sponge bed was only source of seating. Personally I found £65 to sleep on a bed of torture was too much. Its a converted barn I think and when people walked around upstairs it sounded like they would come through the ceiling at any point. I did not find it a restful place at all. Room was clean and had everything needed., location is very good.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a business trip. The location is way outside the city with mostly small farm road connections, making it harder for driving. The rooms and building are old style and rooms are pretty average. It's not an active hotel, but it's not too bad.

Myself and a colleague found ourselves in here on steak night. The land lady Samantha greeted us with a warm friendly welcome. The steaks we got were fantastic, high quality food, and service. A friendly atmosphere, and already the next day found myself recommending the Oddfellows to others. Defo worth a visit.

It's a lovely place to stay. Made to feel welcome, clean rooms and well maintained. There is a lovely beer garden and dogs are welcomed. This place has helped me feel real again. Thank you.
