What visitors say
Thrybergh Country Park is perfect for a Sunday walk. The loop around the reservoir is about 2 miles, flat and scenic with great views over the water. So many birds here — ducks, swans, geese, and we even spotted a heron last time. Bring some bird seed and the kids will love it.

It's a lovely country park with friendly, helpful staff. There's a flexi-pave path and a changing places bathroom making this both welcoming and accessible. The cafe menu is limited, but all freshly made and reasonably priced. The revamped play area was being appreciated by plenty of kids and the BBQ area will be well used into the warmer weather. I just hope the camping area opens again.

Lovely place for a dog walk. 1 lap is only 1 and 3/4 of a mile. The only negative is the parking £2.70 for 1 hour or £3.10 for anything longer (up to 11 hours). I would therefore recommend Manvers lake as they offer free parking (but it does mean it's quite a but busier in comparison).

Fantastic tranquil place, beautiful walk, dogs welcome on lead. Plenty of car parking paid, free to Blue Badge Holders, pleasant Cafe, which is fully staffed now although offering not a full menu

Visitors say this country park offers pleasant, flat walks around the lake, suitable for wheelchairs and prams, with a recently refurbished cafe serving hot and cold food. They also highlight the clean toilets, ample parking for £3 all day, and friendly, helpful staff.
Some reviews mention the establishment can be unwelcoming to dogs.
