Tucked away and peaceful but a great location for visiting many of North Yorkshire's treasures. The hosts, Chris and Jenny, are welcoming and knowleageable. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The flapjack delicious as is breakfast. We will be back.

Perfect stay. Chris and Jenny are so friendly and welcoming. Gave us lots of tips on where to visit. Our room was very comfy and equipped with everything we needed. Loved the flapjacks on arrival. Lovely bar and lounge area where you can relax and help yourselves to drinks and snacks and then write it in the honesty book. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Parking onsite. We had a really lovely 3 night stay here. Would highly recommend staying here. Location is perfect.

Such a lovely stay! Rooms were clean and comfortable, and very well equipped. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough! It did get quite warm upstairs during the day but it was about 25°C when I was there so I don’t think there’s much that can be done about that. They also have a very extensive DVD collection and an honesty bar!

A great place to stay, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Run by a lovely couple and they source the majority of the breakfast produce locally ( absolutely brilliant)
