About Nawton Grange Camping and Caravan Park
Nawton Grange is a family-run farm campsite tucked into the forested hills of Ryedale, where cattle and horses graze in neighbouring fields and level grass pitches (plus hardstanding options) give you plenty of space to spread out. Kids and well-behaved dogs can safely burn off energy on the generous pitches, reached via a quiet rural lane. The setting is peacefully rural, yet you're only forty minutes from historic York, with the foodie market towns of Malton and Pickering and the scenic Howardian Hills all close by.
Facilities are thorough – spacious, wheelchair-accessible showers and toilets, laundry, WiFi, ice-pack freezing – though a few reviewers note the toilet block can feel a little tired in places. For provisions, Beadlam Grange Farmshop is five minutes away, or stroll twenty minutes to Nawton village for a pub meal or takeaway. A relaxed, unpretentious base for exploring North Yorkshire's countryside and heritage towns.

What visitors say
This was a treat so I don't know how much it was. We was in our campervans for an event Nashville2Nawton country singing and it was amazing. There is hook up, spacious pitches, showers, toilets, pot washing facilities and food prep area with a fridge, and water. The barn is great where you can get delicious food and they have a bar to. You don't have to camp to go the events as they have a car park to. One last thing the staff are amazing.

I've just returned from my first camper van trip this year making the most of some sunshine. The site was lovely and peaceful and is in a great spot to visit local attractions that I like - Helmsley, Sutton Bank, Wild flower Belt etc. It was lovely to see the horses and the signs of spring flowers etc. Jenny is very friendly and was on planting wild flower seeds when I arrived so in Summer these will be lovely. So, I'd recommend this site - the facilities met all my needs and weren't too far to walk to having painful joints.

Just put my touring van on this site for a seasonal year. Very quiet and relaxed. Nice new shower block. Recommend also for tents as most pitches seen to have electric if required. Would recommend for any weekend or seasonal vans
