What visitors say
This is an immaculate family run park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We just visited on spec while having a run out in the country, but we fully intend to come back with our tourer in the summer.

One of the best campsites we have stayed on. Well laid out, nice and clean £32/ night worth it.

Lovely spot, we are regular visitors as it is fairly local allowing us to start and end the season.

This place is a true gem hidden in the heart of North Yorkshire. Just outside the village of Wombleton, but close enough to the larger towns of Thirsk, Helmsley and Pickering. The family ran site is perfect, the grounds are immaculate, the toilets and showers are super clean, the tent pitches are massive, and the shop sells the bare essentials to see you through. The family who own and run the site are very welcoming and friendly, nothing seems too much for them, they look after everyone on site from 1st time campers to seasoned caravan owners. The seasonal pitch prices for caravans are some of the cheapest going, we met quite a few people who leave their caravan here all year. This place has stolen our hearts and we will definitely be returning due to its rural location, and the peace and quiet it offers. This place is not a "Holiday Park", so there are no facilities on site such as a playground or pool, so might not be suitable if that's the thing you are looking for. It's more for a quiet holiday, away from the hustle and bustle. There is a small laundry room on site which is very reasonably priced compared to other sites, in the same room you'll find an iron and board (20p coin to use) and a fridge and freezer for use by all. The showers take 20p coins, but don't worry the shop can offer change. A big thanks to James and Adam for looking after us during our stay, and Mum Brenda for her great sense of humour 😄. We really are looking forward to returning next year.
