Cineworld Hemel Hempstead

I haven’t tried the snacks, popcorn, drinks, or anything from the concessions yet, so I can’t really comment on that side of the cinema. However, I have watched a few films here, so I can definitely comment on the screens and the general structure. Overall, the cinema is very comfortable. The seats are nice, the rooms are clean, and the air conditioning works well. It could maybe be slightly colder, but it is still good enough and makes the experience pleasant. The sound quality is good, the image quality is clear, and the screen feels well-sized for the room, which makes watching films enjoyable. I also appreciate the general cleanliness of the cinema, including both the screening rooms and the bathrooms. Oh, and the staff is wonderful. Overall, it is a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained cinema, and I’ve had a good experience watching films here.

We went to see The Odyssey in the IMAX Screen 1. The screen was out of focus, that caused my to have headaches and my Wife to have a headache and dizziness, so much so that she could not watch the screen. There were at least 2 complaints made by the people sitting next to us, probably others before it was rectified, but by then we were both feeling ill and did not enjoy the film to the full extent; we paid for a premium IMAX experience but did not receive one. We complained to staff at the end of the film but were directed to the Customer Services link on the website. The website offers limited options and there is provision to complain about a sub standard visual or audio performance. I did raise a complaint, but received an IA generated generic response not addressing the issue. I have complained again, again and again inadequate AI generated response was sent. I then called Customer Services, but the service is no longer in use. Cineworld’s Customer Services should be renamed Customer Evasion, clearly they do not care about their customers and are downright disrespectful. This complaint will now be escalated as clearly Cineworld are unable and unwilling to engage in any meaningful customer dialogue.

Great experience at this theatre! The staff are friendly and easy going with a can do attitude, approachable and friendly. It wasn't too busy at 7pm on a Saturday night so the wait for popcorn and drinks wasnt long but even so, if they are, they have a skip the queue kiosk you can order from and then collect at a designated counter. We watched on the IMAX screen, the theatre was well maintained and very clean. The picture and sound quality were amazing. I was worried that the screen being that big would be a bit like watching tennis but it wasn't! I highly recommend a visit to IMAX at Cineworld Hemel!

Great cinema complex, recommended. Plenty of film choice and screens - all a good enough size, pretty tidy, staff friendly. Plenty of snack options popcorn, Baskin Robins ice creams, chocolates, sweets, drinks and various deals. On Sundays currently £10 for movie ticket popcorn and drink 👍 Starbucks here offering good selection of food and drink too. Some automatic doors and road/paving level entry. Lots of parking at Jarman car park (free) and plenty of food options nearby.
