What visitors say
Had an absolutely gorgeous experience here today. The volunteer ladies were all super knowledgeable and friendly and had loads of stories to share about the house and the history. The lovely lady who was looking after Lady Brunner's room was particularly wonderful and told us lots of facts about the house. 10/10 recommend and would love to come back again.

The house is a smaller NT property, with the advantage of retaining the original family furniture. There are currently archaological excavations in the land in front of the house. Pleasant gardens and walks. There is a cafe and gift shop on site.

Enjoyable visit during Easter weekend. Helpful staff, beautiful countryside walks. Lovely House with lots of history. Staff available in every room with information about the rooms and the overall estate. The Garden will be lovely once the flowers start though the flowering cherry was stunning.

Nice place to visit for a few hours. Rooms in the house well displayed and the walled garden and sculpture displays made a nice walk. Good selection of lunch food in the cafe and we'll stocked shop. Will go again
