Photo: Herefordshire Hideaways

Leominster sits at the heart of Herefordshire's border country, within reach of the Black Mountains and Wales. From Cobble Hideaway, a hand-built shepherd's hut on a working farm, you can explore rolling countryside on foot or by car, then return to a genuinely secluded base. The hut sleeps two and comprises a generous living space with a wood-fired hot tub in an enclosed garden, where you might spot fallow deer grazing across the 250 acres around you. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; the barbecue is there if you want to cook outdoors.

The setting is rural and quiet enough that you'll hear only birdsong and wind. Walking boots are worth packing—the farm's fields and paths reward exploration. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00. This is somewhere to disconnect for a night or two rather than a base for touring; the value lies in the stillness and the hot tub under open sky.

Just got home from the most amazing and relaxing break in the corner house. What an amazing, peaceful, beautiful place. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Views fantastic, accommodation, spotless and beautiful. Location is perfect. And the only noise you hear is of the birds. A must for anyone wanting to get away from everything and recharge. Thank you so much. And we will definitely be back.

An amazing place to stay. I’d planned to use this as a base to go off walking for the weekend but it was so cozy, I didn’t leave until checkout time. Communication with the host was second to none and the complimentary fresh eggs were fantastic. Highly recommend winding down at this beautiful wagon.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Mosaic Cabin for the weekend of my husband's birthday. From the moment I spoke to Victoria on the phone with some questions prior to booking, I knew we would be well looked after. The cabin has been thoughtfully designed with lots of little touches like the books, bath robes and fluffy towels, paired perfectly with the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing! We chose the chilli for a main meal and crumble dessert, cooked by Victoria for the evening of our arrival. This was absolutely delicious, and kindly was adapted to suit my gluten free dietary requirements. Would 100% recommend Herefordshire Hideaways for a relaxing and peaceful break. Thank you to Victoria & Chris for such a memorable stay!

Lovely weekend at Corner House. Really beautiful charming place that I don’t think the photos do justice. The setting is amazing. Loved watching the buzzards and kites fly overhead and the rabbits playing on the field. The hot tub and wood burning stove were lovely, especially in this weather!
